Step-by-step support with difficult concepts, problem-solving, methods and developing confidence with unfamiliar questions.
Personalised one-to-one tutoring designed around the student's current level, goals and way of learning — not a one-size-fits-all lesson plan.

Sessions can focus on a specific subject, a difficult topic, homework or curriculum support, or simply helping a student build stronger understanding over time.
Step-by-step support with difficult concepts, problem-solving, methods and developing confidence with unfamiliar questions.
Support with comprehension, written work, grammar, vocabulary, communication and approaching academic English more confidently.
Clear explanations of scientific ideas, terminology and processes, with support applying knowledge to questions and coursework.
Help understanding current schoolwork, addressing gaps and keeping up with material being covered in class.
Focused support where a student has missed lessons, fallen behind or reached a topic that simply hasn't clicked yet.
Structured practice that gradually helps students tackle questions with less prompting and greater confidence.
Every student and every lesson is different, but sessions usually follow a simple structure designed to move from understanding towards confident independent practice.
We begin by looking at what the student is currently working on, what feels difficult and where support will be most useful during the session.
The topic is broken down into manageable steps. If one explanation doesn't make sense, we approach it differently rather than simply repeating the same method.
We apply the idea to questions or examples together, with support gradually reduced as the student becomes more comfortable with the method.
The student has an opportunity to apply what they've learned independently before we review progress, clear up anything remaining and decide what to focus on next.
